Rawang Boy Clinches Overall Victory at The FIM Asia Supermoto Championship 2016.

SHAH ALAM, MALAYSIA, 18 DECEMBER 2016 - The fourth and final round of the FIM  Asia Supermoto Championship 2016 witnessed the roar of Malaysians as Muhd Habibullah (Gabit #27) clinches overall victory at the FIM Asia Supermoto Championship 2016 in both Open International & Asia Class.
Muhd Habibullah is the FIRST & ONLY person to win at both classes against 21 top international riders from 18 countries.
After a greuling 4 rounds of heated competition across Australia, Indonesia, Philippines and Malaysia. I am proud to see a Locally Bred Rider being able to achieve such a milestone.
Muhd Habibullah or better known as Gabit#27, is a 25 year old Father of two and hails from the lowly little town of Sungai Buaya. Being able to see him race and bring home the historic victory was simply awesome!
I was privileged to be able to cover both the FIM Supermoto Championship and also the Inaugural Gala Dinner held to Celebrate Gabit#27 VICTORY!
#KelabBloggerBenAshaari was invited to cover the entire event held in Shah Alam and Tropicana Golf and Country Club.

Just goes to show that Malaysian riders have the have the ability to reach an international arena & audience. What they lack is support and avenues in which they can better their skills and opportunities. With the existence of the FIM Supermoto Championship, I hope that more and more young malaysians will have the opportunity to shine at a global level.
In his speech Gabit#27 said "Riders from Asia have proven to be as competitive as other International riders. We believe that the Championship will act as a stepping stone for us to improve our skills and spearhead the Supermoto scene" Gabit#27 concluded his speech with a chant of "Malaysia Boleh".

The Winner, The man himself Gabit#27
At the Championship, there were a number of other fascinating highlights that i would love to share with you. However, i will write about it in another entry as this entry is dedicated to Gabit#27 as a sign of my support for this young boy from Rawang.
